SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF COROPRATE DEVELOPMENT
An accomplished business leader and entrepreneur, Francis Meyer, in the role of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, draws from a wealth of expertise to help shape corporate strategy at Apptis. He brings more than 25 years of diversified executive experience encompassing the financial services, government, information technology, and consulting segments.
Prior to joining Apptis, Francis was Managing Director, Corporate Development at Unisys where he led a number of key acquisitions and divestitures that helped redefine the company’s portfolio of offerings. During his tenure at Unisys, Francis served in a number of senior executive positions, including Vice President and General Manager of Unisys’s North America Public Sector business, as well as Vice President of Operations for Unisys Global Public Sector.
Beginning his career in the financial services segment, Francis held positions with, what are now, UBS Alliance Bernstein LP, and Deutsch Bank Alex. Brown before entering government service with the U.S. Department of Education. Francis later joined KPMG Consulting, where he focused on emerging technologies in the education arena. Additionally, Francis successfully launched an enterprise software business that created CANV, a web based student information portal for colleges and universities.
Francis earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Investments from the George Washington University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
