VICE PRESIDENT AND GROUP GENERAL MANAGER
Mark Gray is responsible for leadership of URS Federal Services' newest group, the Information Solutions Group (ISG). ISG consists of the former Apptis Inc., which was acquired by URS in June 2011, as well as legacy URS Federal Services' Army C4ISR business and strategic campaigns in Cyber, C4I, and Electromagnetic Spectrum services. Since 1985, Mark has worked with military and other Federal agency markets providing Information Technology (IT), systems engineering and acquisition management services and solutions. This experience includes executive leadership and profit and loss responsibility for multiple business units, as well as strategic and market leadership for business development and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining URS Federal Services (URS), Mark was the Chief Operating Officer at INDUS Corporation, a privately-held Information Technology company. Mark was responsible for day-to-day operations and growth, managing all business unit operations and business development. Before that, Mark was a Senior Vice President at Anteon Corporation, now GDIT, serving in both operations and business development roles. He was responsible for operations and growth in Federal agency IT services, credential technologies for secure access control, advanced training technologies for DoD Joint training and professional program management, engineering, training and IT services for Federal Civilian Agencies and the US Navy.
Mark received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, a Masters of Science Degree in Aviation Systems from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters of Business Administration from Georgetown University, graduating with distinction. Mark also graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Test Pilot School and also graduated from the Defense Systems Management College's Advanced Program Management Course.
