About the Air Traffic Instructional Services (ATIS) Contract

Description:  Apptis provides training and training related services necessary to achieve and maintain the required number of Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).  Training efforts support the implementation and operational use of certain Capital Investment Plan (CIP) programs, as well as cognitive training in simulation programs.  Training extends to area managers, area supervisors, and staff specialists as well as CPC and developmental controllers. 

Designation:  Tasks designated under ATIS include Classroom and/or Simulation Qualification Training, Proficiency Training, Computer-Based Instruction (CBI) Administration and Training, and the Development and Maintenance of Air Traffic Training and Related Materials.
