Authorized Users: AFDW/AFNCR, to include HAF, SAF, the 11th Wing, 79th Medical Wing, 316th Wing, 844th Communication Group, and any other Air Force units or Joint activities requiring support or collaboration with AFDW/AFNCR with approval of program manager.
Core Services: Expert level consulting and professional services by Microsoft SharePoint subject matter experts (SMEs) is available under this BPA. SMEs provide knowledge of best practices and identify and evaluate enterprise implementation, access current and planned IT engineering resource availability, assist with implementation/installation required, and provide knowledge transfer/skills to AFDW resources.
Description: To enable Air Force District Washington/Air Force National Capital Region (AFDW/AFNCR) to execute its vision for implementing information technology products, services, and technologies throughout the enterprise. The range of required SharePoint capabilities and services to be performed includes the following eligible technology consulting and professional services:
Program and Project Management
Technology Strategy Consulting combines in-depth knowledge of the government business processes with a detailed understanding of industry best practices to help architect, implement, and deploy leading edge solutions, including:
- Business Intelligence
- Dashboards
- Warfighter support technology
- Assessment and Review Services
- Planning, Architecture
- Information Assurance
- Design Services
Migration and Deployment Services during application/software upgrades, business solutions, collaboration software, workflow, and other 3rd party tools (e.g. K2, CorasWorks, Quest, etc.), operating system, communication/messaging or transitioning from disparate platforms or email systems. Includes knowledge transfer of best practices for migration and deployment support of enterprise software products and applications.
Requirements Analysis and Business Process Consulting provides technical staff to analyze objectives, categorize and prioritize requirements, architect solutions, and enable techniques and changes to fully integrate continuous process improvements.
Proof of Concept Services provides rapid reaction services for emerging business needs within the government, including:
- Rapid development of prototype or proof of concept
- Identification of critical requirements or Key Performance Indicators using applicable tools (i.e., Performance Point, MOSS 2007 Enterprise, etc.)
- Translation of proof of concept into functional requirements
- Delivering functional requirements as prototypes
Application Design and Development Services custom SharePoint Web Parts to enhance and extend the capabilities of the Virtual AFNCR SharePoint environment, including:
- Phased development approach
- Requirements management
- Business modeling
- Analysis and design
- Implementation and coding
- Deployment
- Configuration and change management
- Operations and support
- Maintenance
- Project management
System Testing and Implementation and Documentation Services provides rigorous testing and documentation services for technical solutions, including:
- Creation of test plans
- Execution of test plans
- Incorporation of test results into iterative development process
Training and Knowledge Transfer Services provides training support and delivering associated materials to address:
- Approach, schedule, and training/knowledge transfer for end users, action officers, CSRs, and developers
- Site administrator and system administrator training on relevant solutions incorporating:
- Knowledge Management
- Content Management
- Electronic Records Management
Support, Maintenance and Sustainment Services provides support, sustainment, and maintenance services for applications and systems (e.g. SharePoint workflows, process automation, etc.) following deployment.
