Systems Integrator Ranks among Top Industry Players Celebrates Successful 2006

Chantilly, VA — May 14, 2007 — Apptis Inc., a leading information technology solutions and services provider, has been recognized by Washington Technology magazine as one of the Top 100 prime contractors in the federal information technology market, securing a position in the top 50, with a rank of 44.

With more than $780 million in 2006 gross revenues, Apptis secured a solid placement in the top 50 for the seventh consecutive year. The company shares this top honor with EDS, Computer Sciences Corporation and BAE Systems among others.

“We are honored to be ranked among such prominent industry leaders in information technology and federal contracting,” said Rene Lavigne, president and chief operating officer of Apptis. “This award reinforces our strength as a company and validates the strategic direction we’ve taken as a solutions and services partner to government customers.”

Apptis position as a top integrator has been reinforced by the company’s recent win of a five-year contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), valued at $110 million. Apptis was also awarded the FirstSource contract to provide IT equipment and services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and secured a portion of the ITES-2H contract. ITES-2H complements Apptis existing ITES-2S contract and enables the company to provide comprehensive solutions and services to their US Army customer.

Washington Technology magazine compiles its annual Top 100 list through the work of market research firm Federal Sources Inc. (FSI), of McLean, Va., which analyzes fiscal year 2006 procurement data from the General Service Administration’s Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation.
