Integrator to Support Migration from FTS2001 to Networx Contracts

Chantilly, VA — April 30, 2007 — Apptis, Inc. today announced that the company was awarded a task order under the General Services Administration (GSA) Connections Multiple Award IDIQ contract. The company will support GSA’s Transition Coordination Center (TCC) in the largest network transition effort undertaken by the federal government.

As part of the three year effort, Apptis will support the management and day-to-day operations of the TCC and provide strategic guidance to both agencies and Networx contract vendors.

“Apptis has built a strong practice in network transition management, with proven best-of-breed personnel, tools and solutions,” said Jim Russell, vice president of communication management services division, defense sector at Apptis. “We are looking forward to working closely with GSA and with impacted agencies on this transition effort.”

The Networx transition initiative includes the migration of existing telecommunications services from the expiring Federal Telecommunications Systems 2001 (FTS2001) contract vehicle to the new Networx telecommunications and networking services and technical solutions acquisition contract vehicle. Approximately 135 federal agencies currently using the FTS2001 contracts are required to terminate services under those contracts and the option to reinitiate new and/or similar services under new Networx contracts.
