Apptis Awarded FAA Air Traffic Terminal Services Contract
Company to support life cycle activities for Air Traffic systems
Chantilly, VA — May 11, 2009 — Apptis, Inc., a leading provider of IT and communications services to the federal marketplace, today announced it has been awarded a $34 million contract from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization - Terminal (ATO-T) for program planning, execution, implementation, and cost & financial assistance. The contract term will extend four years if all options are exercised.
The primary mission of the ATO-T organization is to move air traffic safely and efficiently. The contract will provide necessary support services to accomplish the acquisition, development, implementation, and life cycle activities identified within the FAA Capital Investment Plan (CIP) and achieve the objectives of the Flight Plan. The support services under this contract will include program management, program risk management, investment/alternative analysis, value engineering, budget formulation, and budget execution.
