Apptis Names Skip Nowland COO

Leader of Apptis’ rapidly growing Defense and National Security Sector takes reigns of total company operations

Chantilly, VA — September 29, 2009 — Apptis, Inc., a leading provider of essential IT and communications services to key Defense and Civilian agencies, today announced that Skip Nowland has been appointed by its Board of Directors to the role of Chief Operating Officer leading operations and mission execution of the rapidly growing company. Nowland previously served successfully as the Company’s President and GM for its Defense and National Security sector.

Nowland is a seasoned executive with deep industry experience and a proven record of leadership. “Skip is a strong leader who embodies the attributes that have led to the continued growth and success of Apptis -- commitment to our customers, our employees, and innovative services solutions,” said Bert Notini, Chairman and CEO of Apptis. “He has been key to our growth and I am pleased to announce his appointment to COO.”

Nowland joined Apptis in 2005 when the Company acquired SETA Corporation and since that time has had increasing responsibility for Apptis operating divisions. Prior to that, Skip served in senior executive positions at SAIC, Booz Allen Hamilton, and MCI.
