Apptis Names Steven Woolwine as Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Recruiting

Chantilly, VA — March 22, 2011 — Apptis, Inc., a leading provider of essential IT and communications services to key Defense and Civilian agencies, today announced that Steven Woolwine has recently joined the company as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Recruiting. In this role, he will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of strategies and solutions on all human resources initiatives and processes. Woolwine has approximately 20 years of experience, specializing in compensation planning and design, performance management, talent acquisition, employee relations, and succession planning.

Prior to joining Apptis, Woolwine served in a variety of human resource management and consultative roles to a number of public and private companies in both the for profit and nonprofit industries, most notably at The Nature Conservancy and Stanley Associates, Inc.

Most recently, Woolwine was the Vice President of Human Resources for Stanley Associates, Inc. where he played a key role in the due diligence and integration of three acquisitions, its initial public offering process, and in the implementation of its Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and applicant tracking system. Additionally, Woolwine was an instrumental team member in Stanley attaining and retaining for three consecutive years, Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For distinction.

Woolwine holds a B.S. in Personnel and Labor Relations from the University of Maryland University College and is also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
